ACCPD BEHAViORAL HEALTH UNIT - 911

• Crisis Intervention Team that consists of a sworn officer and a licensed clinical social worker

• Request the ACCPD Behavorial Unit upon calling 9-1-1

•  Specify that you or someone you’re concerned about is in crisis but is not a threat to harm others

• *Note: A regular officer will be sent first to make sure the situation is safe, then the social worker will take over intervention and care

• 24/7 crisis stabilization center

• Call or visit any time for crisis stabilization + a safe space

Georgia Crisis & Access Line - 800-715-4225

• Provides telephonic crisis intervention services

• Can dispatch mobile crisis teams + assist individuals in finding an open crisis or detox bed across the state + Link individuals with urgent appointment services

• Available 24/7, must be in GA

CRISIS TEXT LINE - TEXT “HOME” TO 741-741

• Text HOME to 741741 at any time

• A live, trained Crisis Counselor will respond to your text and help guide you through your crisis

• Must be located in the United States

NATIONAL SUICIDE PREVENTION LIFELINE - 988

• Call 988 for free and confidential emotional support, available 24/7

• Trained volunteers will talk you through your crisis
