We’re kicking off Day 1 of our 12 Days of Giving with a tribute to someone who helped shape the heart of Nuçi’s Space: Carl Lindberg.

Carl was more than a gifted bassist—he was a co-founder of Camp Amped, a beloved mentor, and a joyful community-builder. After his passing in 2015, Carl’s friends and family established the Carl Lindberg Memorial Scholarship Fund to honor his legacy and fuel what he loved most: helping young musicians grow and thrive

Since then, over $23,000 has been raised, providing full or partial scholarships to more than 50 students across Nuçi’s Space’s Youth Support Programs.

Carl helped design Camp Amped from the ground up. He taught here. He introduced the Four Agreements, which still guide how our campers show up for themselves and each other.

One of the many young people impacted by this fund is Hayden Hardegree (they/them), a rising senior who has attended six sessions of Camp since 2023.

So what can a Camp Amped Scholarship cover?
🎧 2 weeks of Camp Amplify (studio + live) – $750
🎸 2 weeks of Camp Amped – $625
🥁 1 week of Camp Amped After School – $280
🎤 Full year of Pre-Amped – $200

Our dream? To have enough funding that a young person could enter Nuçi’s Space programming through Pre-Amped in 4th grade—and remain supported with music and mental health resources via our Youth Support Programs all the way through their senior year of high school. That’s nine years of opportunity, mentorship, and belonging—made possible by gifts like yours.

This winter marks the 20th anniversary of the Blues Olympics, which is now a celebration of Carl’s life and music. Your support ensures his legacy keeps growing.
