1999
Before the building at 396 Oconee Street was renovated, Nuçi’s Space held an open house, featuring music from Drip and Five Eight (among others).
2000
The finishing touches were put on the Space – including this record wall designed by Bob and Rachel Sleppy.
The practice rooms opened for business on September 20, 2000.

2001
Early Drive-By Truckers Benefit: DBT kicks off a benefit concert that would become an annual event for Nuçi’s Space. As their notoriety increased, DBT would eventually move the location of these shows to the 40 Watt club downtown. The 2001 lineup included Rob Malone on guitar and Earl Hicks on bass.
2002

2002: Drive-By Truckers perform their album "Southern Rock Opera" all the way through for the first time - on our stage!
In 2002, The B-52′s performed a sold-out benefit concert for Nuçi’s Space at the 40 Watt downtown.

2003
January 10th -
Nuçi’s Space re-released Nuçi Phillips’ CD Only When The Right Side Glows. To celebrate the release, the Space brought together some of Athens’ best musicians to play music from the album, including David Barbe, Patterson Hood, Michael, Roy Coughlin and other special guests.
May 31st –
Against Me! played at Nuçi’s Space (on their way to national acclaim).

2005

In 2005, Nuçi’s Space received a generous equipment donation from WNNX (99X) FM in Atlanta.
2006
The Nuçi’s Space Student Organization put together the first annual Depression Prevention & Suicide Awareness Week on the UGA Campus.

2007
The inaugural year for our summer music program, Camp Amped. With only one two-week session that year, the camp expanded to two sessions in summers to come.
